Shinnosuke Abe (阿部慎之助 Abe Shinnosuke, born March 20, 1979 in Urayasu, Chiba, Japan) is a professional baseball player for the Yomiuri Giants in Japan's Nippon Professional Baseball. He has played for the Japan national team since 1999 as a catcher. In the 2009 Japan Series, he was named the Most Valuable Player.
