Joan Burke (born in Bishop Falls, Newfoundland and Labrador) is a Canadian politician.

Burke represents the district of St. George's-Stephenville East in the Newfoundland and Labrador House of Assembly. She is a member of the Progressive Conservatives. As well as being Minister of Child, Youth and Family Services Burke was named Government House Leader in May 2008 being the first woman appointed to this position in the history of Newfoundland and Labrador.
